Policies

We love all of our clients at Brushed, and we want to make sure everyone feels at home in our friendly hair salon. That’s why we’ve set a few basic policies to make sure everyone who walks through our doors has an experience that leaves them wanting to return time and again. Take a quick read. If you have any questions, just get in touch.

Your appointments are very important to the Brushed team members.  We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; stuff happens and sometimes you need to cancel your appointment with us. We get it. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require a 48-hour notice before your scheduled appointment. All cancellations and changes must be made during business hours. All DMs, emails and texts regarding the salon are only checked and responded to during business hours.

 

Any cancellations or changes made before the 48 hours are free of charge! If you need to cancel or make adjustments to the service you are currently booked for, you must notify us within 24-48 hours or you will be charged 30% of the service. Same day cancellations and no shows will be charged 50% the cost of the scheduled service. In order for these fees to be waived, any appointment changes and cancellations must be made more than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment AND within our business hours. Please understand it is YOUR responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed/cancelled appointments and the cancellation fee.

 

This is to ensure we have adequate time to fill in that appointment slot. While we understand that life happens and things come up, we just ask you to reach out and let us know if any unforeseen circumstances occur, we can promise that we are very reasonable! Just asking for a little courtesy.

Under no circumstances can you give your appointment to someone else. For example, if you need to cancel your appointment, your mom/sister/friend cannot show up to that appointment without asking permission first, as we have a long waitlist of clients who need to get in for services that we would offer the appointment to first. If this is something you would like to do, please just ask us first.

​We understand that health emergencies and sickness are legitimate reasons for cancelling an appointment, and we urge people to stay home if they are experiencing any symptoms of illness. However, due to this being out of our control, we must still enforce our cancellation policy.

Late Arrivals

We understand that due to your busy schedule, you may find yourself running late. If you think you are going to be late, please text or call and let us know.

 

If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled or rescheduled due to it interfering with the next scheduled guest. If we are able to still take your appointment, we may not be able to complete the full service you booked or may not be able to complete your style (blowdrying, curling, etc.).

Please note* if you are late there will be an additional $30 charge to your total service

We value you as a client and thank you for respecting our time!

If you are unable to make it to your appointment in the grace period time frame, you will have to forfeit your appointment completely and you will be charged 50% of the services scheduled

Refunds

We want you to thoroughly enjoy your service experience and to be in love with the final product. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us within 7 days of your date of service. Our management team will take note of your concerns and will get you rescheduled for any corrective services, if necessary. While we do not issue refunds, your original stylist will work with you to resolve any issues and help you achieve a look you’ll love! Please call or text us with any questions. â€‹Brushed has the right to consult first and discuss with client about the appointment. If the client wants additional services that weren’t discussed in the consultation then this would be an additional appointment and may come with additional fees.

Product Purchases: If you don’t love a product you’ve purchased, you may exchange it within 7 days of purchase for another product.

Need To Cancel?

Can I Bring Guests?

We kindly have to ask, if your guest is not receiving a service please do not bring them along. We have very limited seating for extra guests, and just enough for only guests receiving services from one of our stylists. This includes children as well.

Card On File

We require a card to be kept on file to schedule an appointment. Brushed Beauty Lounge, LLC reserves the right to and will charge the credit card on file. We will not charge your card unless you do not give us our required 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule & same day cancellations or no call no shows will be charged half their expected service cost.

Clothing

Any clothing or items brought to the salon are brought at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damage or color stains on any personal item. We recommend not wearing or bringing any personal item of value into the salon due to the risk of color accidents.

Extensions

If you have extensions installed at our salon, and get your hair serviced somewhere else, we can no longer guarantee that hair.
